Matt Terwilliger's Career High Lifts Paderborn Baskets To Their First Home Victory

(Far left: Terence Dials, 2nd right: Matt Terwilliger)

(Air Twig throws it down!)
The 2009/2010 German League season has not been as enjoyable as Paderborn Baskets would like. Inconsistent play coupled with injuries have resulted in just one win in the club's first ten games. Yet, on November 28th, Paderborn would enjoy their first home victory, and 2nd overall win behind a career scoring effort from former Ohio State forward Matt Terwilliger.

With Buckeye teammate Terence Dials out due to injury, Twig provided 28 strong minutes against Ratiopharm (4-9) resulting in a career best 19 points to go with 8 rebounds. Matt's very solid face up jumper was in full effect in this contest by hitting three shots from three-point range.

He finished with an efficient 7-10 from the field, and 2-2 from the free throw line. Terwilliger's effort helped his club to a comfortable 94-73 home victory. Paderborn Baskets (2-9 overall) is looking to carry this momentum on the road for a December 5th away contest against Telekom Baskets Bonn. Congrats Twig!
